Brigid knew what it was like to work, to hurt, and to rise again.  The Celtic goddess was a blacksmith, a healer, and a symbol of spring and rebirth.  As farmers, fabricators and blacksmiths, we know what it means to use and abuse our bodies daily doing what we love.  And like Brigid, we seek to renew ourselves when and how we can. 

We started making this balm for our own use, to treat muscle aches, arthritis, and an array of skin problems from cuts to psoriasis.  When we began to share it with friends and family, they also saw the great benefits and asked us for more.  We decided to grow more and make more, and to offer it to more people.

We make Brigid Balm from all natural and organic ingredients.  The hemp was grown on our small biodynamic farm, where it shared resources with our animals and the food we grow for ourselves and others. We select our hemp plants to offer the highest quality CBD so we can make a product with the full spectrum of medicinal benefits.  Our other ingredients are sourced from certified organic producers and are chosen to provide the  maximum benefit to your skin and muscles.

This healing salve is made at our farm with our hands, and without the industrial extraction processes that have become the standard for CBD topicals that have proliferated in the last few years.  This means it takes us longer to make, but we have a product that is cleaner and milder.

We use Brigid Balm every day, there is a jar in nearly every room of our home.  We hope you will enjoy it as well, and that Brigid can become a source of strength and renewal in you life.

We start with 100% virgin organic coconut oil which we infuse for over 24 hours with our biodynamically cultivated hemp flower blend.  We never use solvents or intensive extraction processes, but we take our time and slowly draw the CBD from the flowers and bind them to the oil molecules.

We then blend in certified organic, pure cosmetic grade shea butter, bees wax, and arnica montana to compliment the coconut oil and create a product that feels great going on, and carries all that goodness through the outer layers of your skin and into your fascia and muscles.  

Essential oils round out the product to relax the senses and tie your breathing into your healing.

Nothing is ever used in our product that does not show up on our ingredient list.
